netball pics

Just some more pictures from last Saturday. Girls playing netball, and a picture of myself with a few of the students. They all love it when you bring a camera out, since obviously none of them have cameras. This also results in many Africans running at you when you try to take pictures, resulting in extreme close ups.

I also wanted to add that in yesterdays picture. Those are borrowed jerseys. They just borrow them to play the game, and many of them are ripped. They only get 11, so any subs have to trade shirts as they come on the field.

A picture of the director! We've been hearing and seeing so much about Malawi, all courtesy of your insights and photos. Now,seeing your mug alongside your students reminds me of seeing Alfred Hitchcock's fleeting presence in a few frames of each film he directed. More!

Hey Conor! Love the blog--it's great living vicariously through you! There is a group of BC people that are actually heading to Malawi this summer for ten weeks to do something similar to what you are doing. I will give them your email or something as it gets closer. Hope all is well-stay safe!
